I will inform the students who will be interacting with the Riff bots I create about how the data from their reflections will be accessed and used. Namely:

Only I will have access to the students’ personally identifiable information
Students should not share any personally identifiable information (PII), like names or emails, with the chatbot as part of their reflections
Riff developers do NOT have access to the students’ PII
Their rights in terms of being able to access the data from their reflections (which they can also request to automatically receive via email at the end of each reflection)
Their rights in terms of deleting their data according to applicable laws.

I am responsible for securing all the required authorizations under applicable laws in the case of minors using the Riff bots that I create.

I am responsible for safekeeping the students’ PII and reflection data, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
